The baby urn opens on the bottom and seals with a tight fitting plug. Two small bags are included to place the cremated remains of a preemie baby. The vessel can hold up to 8 cubic inches of cremated remains if poured directly into the vessel. If you use the plastic bags to place the baby in the vessel, it can hold up to 4 cubic inches of cremated remains.The baby urn can be personalized with a metal nameplate on the bottom. The nameplate may be round or rectangle depending on the amount of letters requested. Size = 8" (W)x 4.5" (H) x 4.5" (D). This urn can be used as a baby girl urn or a baby boy urn.
